let’s dig in
the heart behind it
Hey, I’m Anna Claire—
but my friends
call me AC.
moments that make me feel
the real stuff
I want to capture the real, wholesome and raw. I want your photos to be an experience, not check off your list of to-dos.
Life moves quickly.
Let’s slow things down.
let’s focus on the in-between, the gritty, the special little moments that make you feel something big.
If you want a slow and purposeful session.
If you don't want to get posed in stiff and awkward ways.
If you want space to be yourself.
Then we will be a perfect fit.
your people, your moments
deserve to be documented.
I’ll go first.
this is who i am
these are my people
My name is Anna Claire (yup, double first name!) and I am a 22-year-old photographer based out of Lubbock, TX.
I love a good journal, especially when paired with a blustery fall morning and a hot cuppa. I’ve tried and failed to eat vegetarian like 10 times. I’ve spent many many nights sleeping under the stars with people I love, and I hold those memories close.
I get to do life with my best friend, Danny. We met in high school, and chose to co-human for the rest of our existence. My relationship with him is what informs so much of my work; it teaches me about the importance of quiet moments and pillow talk and hand-holds in a tent with morning rays beaming down. It’s taught me that every relationship has good and bad and hard and easy and this complexity and vulnerability is what makes us human.
Seeing photos of us doing life together makes me feel all the things.
That’s what I want for you.
Backpacking, caving, cycling, and being in the water are my favorite outdoor activities.
While my first language is English, I also have a basic understanding of ASL and Spanish!
I travel often and have a passion for human right’s issues—which has taken me around the world; from cloud forest mountains of Costa Rica, to rural villages in the Dominican Republic, to De Wallen Amsterdam and strip clubs in Texas. These trips are where I learned how to drop my pre-conceived notions at the door and become a good story-listener.
All of that said, for me, living adventurously is not some kind of fad. It’s a lifestyle—and adventurous moments aren’t just big hikes and gorgeous views; They exist in the spaces where we step out of our comfort zones.
My excitement is in the intimate moments that ground us and make us feel present.
No matter the geographic location, that’s the space that gets me stoked.
