Hey there—I’m Anna Claire. And I’m so happy you’re here.

If we were meeting in person, it would probably be over beers on a dusty porch, or over a well-loved kitcehn table, cups of coffee in hand. We would likely skip straight through the small talk and into the good stuff— our hopes, goals, and passions—because I love to hear about the things that you care most about. The things that make your life feel beautiful and your heart beat hardest. The things that fire you up.

I love a good journal, especially when paired with a blustery fall morning and a hot cup of coffee. I’ve tried and failed to eat vegetarian like 10 times. I’ve spent many many nights sleeping under the stars with people I love, and I hold those memories close.

I talk a lot about this idea of “photos you can feel.” The phrase came to me when I was rifling through the pages of a family photo album, looking at adventures my grandparents took back in the 70s. Looking through the photos, I felt nostalgia for places I had never even experienced. I could imagine the prickly feeling of hot sunshine on my face when I looked at photos from Boquillas Canyon in Big Bend. I could imagine the white noise of the traffic sounds in Thailand, and the cold chill of packing up camp on a wet morning in the Colorado alpine.

Those photos represented more than just a moment in time, but a feeling and sense of place.
