There are so many incredible options when it comes to eloping in the United States, with landscapes so varied it’s hard to believe they are all in the same country. Mini Elopements

Most couples typically spend $6-9k for their elopement or wedding experience. However, if this feels a bit out of budget for you but you still want to work together, please reach out! I leave openings in my travel schedule each year for mini elopements for $4,200. Each year I travel to California, Big Bend National Park/West Texas, Hawai’i, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana, so you will have lots of stunning locations to choose from if you opt to book a mini elopement.

The process

01

inquire

Reach out via my contact form and let’s jump into this process together. I’ll send over my pricing guide with all the info about what’s included and what our next steps look like.

02

Consult

During our phone call consult, we can go over the packages together, as well as any questions you may have. Plus, we can get to know each other!

03

envision

Once you’ve settled on a package that feels like the best fit, I’ll send over the invoice and contract to get your date locked in. From there, the fun part begins.

04

connect

Finally, your day is here. At this point, we are basically old friends and you two celebrate the best day ever while I make sure to document it all.

“Having her at our wedding was like having an old friend with us.”

Victoria

“The results were incredibly candid, natural, and romantic photographs… I feel I can relive the moments every time I look at them.”

Katy

“She tunes in with the kind of couple you are and what brings out the best in you both, and she enhances that in her work.”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How many images do you deliver?

This number varies based on shooting time (how many hours we are together), but typically you can expect at least 50 high-resolution, edited images per hour of shooting. I never limit myself on the number of photos sent—if I have 500 amazing photos to share with you, you’ll get all 500.

  • Do we need to have all the details nailed down before reaching out?

Not at all! Most couples who reach out usually have a general vision for their experience, but since this process is a collaboration, we can work together to nail down the details and bring that vision to life.

  • How will we pick our elopement ceremony location(s)?

If you don’t already have your elopement locations nailed down— no worries! Once you give me the thumbs up that you’re ready to book and you’ve paid your retainer, I’ll send over my in-depth Location + Vision Questionnaire. This questionnaire will ask you all the things you never even knew you needed to be thinking about when it comes to choosing your elopement location so we can pick the best spot for your day. Once you submit your questionnaire, I’ll start working on your Custom Location Recommendations. After you review that location list, we will hop on a call and narrow down your options!

  • Do we need to hire an officiant for our “just use” elopement?

Short answer: it depends! I am ordained in some states and may be able to make your marriage official. Depending on what county you get your marriage license from, you may not even need witness signatures! However, if you want someone to be able to direct you throughout the entire ceremony, I have a list of officiants I can recommend.

  • What if we have bad weather on our elopement day?

Part of having an outdoors-centric wedding day or photoshoot is the fact that there are many things we can’t control. Weather is one of them. In the event that it rains on your elopement day, we will come up with a backup option based on your priorities. Don't worry though-- I'll keep my eye on the weather and always be clearly communicating with you if I foresee any potential problems so that you always know exactly what to expect.

  • What if we are eloping in a place you’ve never been to? Can you still help us with locationS?

Definitely! I actually love scouting for places I’ve never been because it really allows me to deep-dive and get to know a place really well. I have tons of tools for finding locations “off-the-beaten-path” to make sure you have an intimate and unique experience for your elopement, wedding, or portrait session.

  • Can we include friends or family in our elopement day?

100%. Whether you want to include them by having them there with you in person, or you'd like some suggestions on creative ways to make them a part of your day from afar, your friends and family can still play a role in your elopement day.
